Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 2 (17.5 ounces) cans Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup light or dark brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.

  2. Set aside icing tubs from cinnamon roll packages. Separate each package of dough into 5 rolls; cut into quarters.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Roll each piece in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Arrange the pieces evenly in the prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.

  4. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter, then stir in the brown sugar and maple syrup. Pour the mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.

  5. Transfer to preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until lightly browned and bubbly. If you notice the tops are getting too brown too quickly, loosely tent the pan with aluminum foil and continue baking.

  6. Remove from oven and drizzle with the frosting from the cinnamon roll packages. Serve warm.
